CRYLREX® Absorbable Polyglactin 910(PGLA) Suture

CRYLREX®  Absorbable Polyglactin 910(PGLA) Suture is a braided, coated synthetic, absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. CRYLREX®  suture is available in undyed (natural) or dyed (D&C Violet No.2) and coated with poly (glycolide-co-lactide) (30/70) and calcium stearate. Approximately 75% of tensile strength remain after 2 weeks, 50% of tensile strength remain after 3 weeks. Complete absorption in tissues takes around 56 to 70 days.

REXMONO® Absorbable Polyglecaprone (PGCL) sutures

REXMONO® Absorbable Polyglecaprone (PGCL) suture is a sterile, synthetic absorbable monofilament suture composed of poly (glycolide-co-caprolactone). Poly (glycolide-co-caprolactone) copolymer has been found to be non-pyrogenic, non-antigenic and elicits only a slight tissue reaction during absorption.  REXMONO® sutures are available in dyed and undyed (natural) form. Approximately 60-80% of tensile strength remains after 1 week. Complete absorption in tissues takes around 90-110 days.

PDREX® Absorbable Polydioxanone(PDO) Suture

PDREX® absorbable Polydioxanone(PDO) Suture is a monofilament, synthetic, absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of Polydioxanone. The suture is available dyed (D&C Violet No.2). In the Biodegradability Study, In vivo strength retention was observed at 2,4,6,8 weeks in rats. In vivo strength retention of PDREX® Suture was 65-70% of the original tensile strength after 4 weeks and 50-60% of the original tensile strength after 6 weeks. This result was similar with other suture products or superior to them. Complete absorption in tissues takes about 180-210 days.

REXSIN® absorbable Polyglycolic acid(PGA) suture

REXSIN® absorbable Polyglycolic acid(PGA)  a synthetic, absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of braided Polyglycolic Acid and is available both dyed (D&C Violet No. 2) or undyed. The suture is coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. Implantation studies in animals indicate that Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) retains approximately 82% of its original tensile strength at 14 days post implantation, 56% of its original tensile strength at 21 days post implantation, and 20% of its original tensile strength at 28 days post implantation. Absorption of Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) absorbable synthetic suture is essentially complete between 60 and 90 days.

CRYLREX Rapid® Polyglactin 910(PGLA) Suture

CRYLREX Rapid® Polyglactin 910(PGLA) Suture is a braided, coated synthetic, absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. CRYLREX Rapid® suture is available in undyed (natural) or dyed (D&C Violet No.2) and coated with poly (glycolide-co-lactide) (30/70) and calcium stearate. Approximately 50% of tensile strength remains after 1 week. Complete absorption in tissues takes around 56 to 70 days. CRYLREX Rapid®  Sutures is intended for use in soft tissue approximation where only short term wound support is required and where the rapid absorption of the suture would be beneficial, Skin closure, cuticular or subcuticular
