Sanyleg is a world leading producer of compression stockings with an export rate of 90%.
The production facilities are located in Castel Goffredo, Mantua, Italy.
The factory covers 5,000 sqm, and a production capacity of 20,000 compression stockings per day is ensured by 170 Lonati knitting machines of latest technology that run 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
PRODUCTIONThe complete production process, from development to packing and delivery of the products, is done in-house, which guarantees total control throughout the production process.
All of the products are 100% manufactured in Italy.
Sanyleg is certified ISO 9001, ISO 13485 for medical devices and ISO 14001.
PRODUCTION / KEY FACTORSThere are some important key-factors in the production process to reach a high quality, and functional compression sock fulfilling the medical standards.
THE YARNSTo reach a high and consistent level of quality in the final product, the yarns are extremely important. Sanyleg cooperates very closely with a few selected yarn suppliers in Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
By always using the same suppliers, production prerequisites remain the same and the level of quality can be kept at a constant level.

PRODUCTION FACILITIESThe temperature in the production hall is kept at a constant 25°C with 65% humidity. This is to ensure that the characteristics of the yarns do not change.
Before going into production, all yarns are conditioned for 48 hours.
Electronic measuring devices ensure that the tension of the yarns is correct when they are fed into the knitting machine.

LABORATORY TESTINGTo reach the correct functionality for a compression sock, you need to develop a sock that gives the correct pressure at certain measuring points.
There are different levels of compression depending on how the sock will be used. Sanyleg has a well-equipped laboratory that can conduct compression tests.
These tests are performed during the product development process, and random tests are performed in production.
